Birthday Presents!

So if you came from our Facebook page or our Twitter account (or you’re quite perceptive) you may have noticed that today is in fact the one year anniversary of fork/knife. We here are pretty proud of having made it in the blogosphere for a year and plan on sticking around for a while, if you’ll have us.

Here’s a present from us to you on our birthday (Lord of the Rings style). My favorite band in the history of music (slight exaggeration), The Rural Alberta Advantage, has put out what I believe to be their first official music video for the song “Don’t Haunt this Place.” “Drain the Blood.”

Mix: Beginning of Fall

Autumn

Very sadly, it’s starting to get colder here in CT, and my blogmates in NY and MN aren’t faring much better I suspect.. Fall makes me think of a lot of songs, and being back at school in particular brings up a lot of particular genres. This is a mix of songs that were on repeat last fall and songs that have been on repeat so far this fall.
