Noah talks, and I listen
(Noah having fun and being awkward with his band buddies)There’s likely no band that embodies the spirit behind indie music better than Animal Collective. The three/foursome is arguably the most influential band this decade, releasing 8 studio albums this decade, 6 of which are truly remarkable, 1 of which is a bit odd, and 1 of which is completely off the deep end (sorry Danse Manatee fans! I guess I fear what I don’t understand….) What’s more, these albums aren’t the only music that’s come out of the group. Noah Lennox (Panda Bear, but doesn’t everyone know that by now?) has released two solo albums this decade, and one way back in ‘98 that I’ll admit never having listened to.
Well he recently sat down to talk to Pedestrian.tv, an interview in which he sheds light on his forthcoming LP, which is highly anticipated given all the noise its predecessor Person Pitch. Simply put, Person Pitch is a masterpiece and mostly everyone knows it.
