More importantly, in this interview it is confirmed that Broken Social Scene is recording some new material! Elizabeth Powell - Land of Talk

No record grabbed me quite as much last year as Land of Talk’s second album, Some Are Lakes. I’ve fallen madly in love with lead singer Elizabeth Powell, to the point where I’m pretty sure she could sing nonsensical gibberish and I wouldn’t notice. Her voice consistently gives me the shivers. Here’s a new song from their upcoming EP, Fun and Laughter. Props to The Blisslist for reminding me about this great band.
