Zero 7

The Zero 7 duo comprised of British producers Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker has been producing sultry sounds since 1999, and they’re still going strong with the release of their 2009 album Yeah Ghost. After spending their first few years working as sound engineers for artists such as The Pet Shop Boys and Robert Plant, Binns and Hardaker turned to none other than their old college buddy, none other than  Radiohead producer, Nigel Godrich. They asked for some of the band’s music so they could hone their skills. The result a remix of “Climbing Up The Walls”, which eventually made it’s way onto Radiohead’s 1997 album, OK Computer. So, listen to them.

A more recent product of the good ol’ UK is Bibio. My fellow blogmates got around to listening to this young talent before I could, but man I am glad Ambivelence Avenue finally made it into my lineup. The only way I can describe his music is that it’s everything i want…in music.
