Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
In a week that brought us releases from artists like Bon Jovi, Dashboard Confessional and Switchfoot, I’m basically taking some time off from music to enjoy the only thing that came out this week that matters: the new Call of Duty. If you think you’re too cool for this game, you’re just trying way too hard to be cool, and failing miserably. Infinity Ward took the fantastic game engine from the previous Modern Warfare and somehow made it better, providing crisper graphics, better rendering and an overall better look and feel than its predecessor. While it lacks a long single-player campaign, the multiplayer is some of the most addicting and enjoying experiences I’ve had in a while, and is something that should appeal to the casual and hardcore gamer alike. If you’re someone that has an XBox 360 that sits and collects dust because you don’t have a game to play that you feel is worth the price, here it is. Get it.
