Built to Spill- There Is No Enemy

Three years from their last release, Built to Spill has returned with their seventh full length album There Is No Enemy. Much like Yo La Tengo’s newest release, TINE shows an experienced band who’s more than happy with the sound they’ve cultivated over the years, and are content with continuing that sound. Here you’ll find Martsch’s great lyrics and unique voice over wailing guitar riffs and solos, much like the criteria they’ve used throughout their career. A solid effort and worth checking it out. If you want the vinyl, however, you’ll have to wait until next week. BOOO.
